Two men sustained injuries Thursday evening in a shooting in the Roseland neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, police said.
The shooting was reported at 5:18 p.m. in the 8700 block of South Princeton, the Chicago Police Department confirmed.
The two men were traveling in a vehicle in the 200 block of East 87th Street when they were shot by unknown offenders inside another vehicle, authorities stated. Both men sustained gunshot wounds, and their vehicle crashed in the 8700 block of South Princeton.
One victim was shot in the hand, and the second was shot in the abdomen, according to fire officials. They were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in unknown conditions, fire officials said.<\/p>\n
