The pursuit ended at the Great Sauk Rest Area on I-80 westbound near Princeton.<br \/>Upon making contact, officials discovered the person deceased. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.<br \/>The Illinois State Police stated it will conduct a thorough investigation and remain in contact with the Bureau County State\u2019s Attorney&#8217;s Office regarding the incident. The investigation is active and ongoing.<br \/>On the same day, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.channel3000.com\/news\/name-of-woman-killed-in-beloit-shooting-released\/article_f12f7146-0098-4029-8121-bda696f9814d.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">25-year-old Arianna Fobes<\/a>\u00a0was shot in the 1900 block of Colony Court in Beloit.\u00a0She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.<br \/>Beloit police have not disclosed what led to the shooting but confirmed it was an isolated incident.<br \/>Officials did not provide the age, gender, or other identifying characteristics of the deceased individual.<br \/>No additional information is available at this time, according to the Illinois State Police.<br \/>\u200bCOPYRIGHT 2025 BY CHANNEL 3000.
