PRINCETON TWP., MN, (July 13, 2026) – Four people were killed, including three members of a Princeton family in one vehicle, in a multi-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Princeton Township.
<\/path><\/svg><\/span>Incident Location
The Minnesota State Patrol said a Honda-CRV traveling west near 7702 Highway 95 just before 3 p.m. crossed the center line and collided head on with an eastbound Volkswagen Jetta. A second eastbound car, a Nissan Altima, was struck by a tire that flew off one of the vehicles near 75th Avenue.
Three occupants of the Volkswagen were tragically killed: driver Jeffrey Geisler<\/b>, 60; Steven Geisler<\/b>, 16; and Susan Geisler<\/b>, 57. Steven Geisler died after being transported to a hospital.
The driver of the SUV, an 80-year-old Princeton woman, died in the crash.
The State Patrol said the driver of the car struck by the loose tire was uninjured.<\/p>\n

FATAL THREE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION<\/b><\/h3>\n

Residents say the road in which the crash happened is dangerous. Drivers tend to go well over the posted speed limit of 45 on parts of the road.
The most common cause of head-on accidents is driver error. Common variables include drunk driving, speeding, distracted driving, poor road design, inexperienced drivers, and confusion on the part of the driver.
