Vehicle of interest sought in fatal Princeton Park shooting – WGN TV Chicago

CHICAGO — Chicago detectives seek the public’s help in identifying a vehicle of interest allegedly used in a fatal shooting earlier this month in Princeton Park.
Around 12:45 p.m., police say a man was standing on the sidewalk in the 9100 block of S. Wentworth Ave., on June 1, when a black-colored SUV drove by and an occupant inside opened fire.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the 25-year-old shooting victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the man as Ogonnia Okeke.
Police on Wednesday released surveillance video of the vehicle.

Bascaran’s wake will occur at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview on Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Remarks of remembrance will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a mass at 7 p.m.
WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday rejected former President Donald Trump’s request to block the release of documents to the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan declined to issue a preliminary injunction sought by Trump’s lawyers. Chutkan said President Joe Biden was “best positioned” to determine whether to waive executive privilege on documents sought by the House.
