A man was driving a Ford sedan about 10:50 p.m. in the 9500 block of South Dorchester Avenue when he struck a Ford SUV, Chicago police said.
A man was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Cottage Grove Heights on the South Side.
A man was driving a Ford sedan about 10:50 p.m. in the 9500 block of South Dorchester Avenue when he struck a Ford SUV, Chicago police said.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. An autopsy found he died of multiple injuries from the crash and ruled his death an accident, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Two men in the SUV were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition, police said.
The Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
