Princeton man killed, 2 family members seriously injured after fatal crash Friday – kwqc.com

OTTAWA, Ill. (KWQC) – A Princeton man was killed, and two of his family members were airlifted to a Rockford hospital, after a two-vehicle crash in LaSalle County Friday afternoon, the family told KWQC.
A family member, who was also a victim in the crash, identified the man who died to KWQC as David Camp, 58, of Princeton, Illinois.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Illinois Route 23 and North 32nd Road near Ottawa.
In a press release, the Sheriff’s Office said four people were taken to Ottawa Hospital by ambulance.
Camp’s family told KWQC two family members were later airlifted to a Rockford hospital with serious injuries. A third family member was released from Ottawa Hospital with no injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office says the Illinois State Police Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting their investigation.
