Officials identify drivers in Highway 67 crash – KWQC

LECLAIRE, Iowa (KWQC) – The Scott County Sheriff’s Office identified the drivers involved in a crash that temporarily closed U.S. Highway 67 Monday.
The sheriff’s office on Wednesday said Grace Kelly, 20, of Moline, Illinois, was driving a 2020 Ford Fusion, and Bruce Jones, 67, of Preston, Iowa, was driving a 2018 Ford Escape.
Crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 67, between LeClaire and Princeton at 12:13 p.m. Monday. Great River Road from Territorial Road to 235th Street was shut down for about two-and-a-half hours while crews worked.
Both Kelly and Jones were seriously injured and were taken to a local hospital. Jones was later flown to Iowa City for further treatment.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office’s crash team is investigating.
