Cyle Dickens – KWQC

For Cyle Dickens, coming to KWQC-TV6 was a dream come true. Cyle grew up watching TV6 from his hometown of Princeton, Illinois. At an early age, Cyle knew broadcast meteorology was his calling. As a child, Cyle was glued to the radar and tracking storms.
Cyle went on to other professions before achieving his life-long goal of being a TV meteorologist. In 2020, Cyle’s dreams finally came true when he became a meteorologist for WSNN-TV in Sarasota, FL. After a 2-year stint in Florida, Cyle moved to KWQC-TV6 in late 2022. Since coming to KWQC, Cyle has covered some of the areas biggest weather and news events, including the Davenport building collapse, the March 2023 tornado outbreak, and several other tornado and severe weather events. On top of tracking the crazy Midwest weather, Cyle is also our Assistant News Director and graphic designer.
In his spare time, Cyle enjoys golfing, bowling and catching the beauty of Mother Nature. Another passion of Cyle’s is talking to local schools and organizations about the weather.
