Young, Bassetti
Caroline Young and Michael Bassetti, both of Madison, Wis., plan to be married Aug. 10 in Olbrich Gardens in Madison.

Her parents are Patricia Young of Duluth and Marty and Wendy Young of Chisago City, Minn. His parents are Jack Bassetti and Betty Bassetti, both of Princeton, Ill.
The future bride, a 2001 graduate of Lincoln High School in Esko, graduated from Winona (Minn.) State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in social work and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008 with a master’s degree in social work. She became a licensed clinical social worker in 2011 and is employed as a families in transition therapist at Family Service Madison.
The future groom, a 1993 graduate of Princeton High School, graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 with a master’s degree in biomedical engineering and in 2007 with a doctorate in electrical engineering. He is a senior interfaces consultant at Vonlay in Madison.
